The Travelling Book Club Book Swap is an opportunity for connection, community and meeting fellow book lovers. A small intimate group with bags of chance to chat, share book reviews and go home with some new books whilst clearing out some of your faves that you’d love other people to read and enjoy as much as you did.

 What should you expect from a Travelling Book Club Book Swap Event?

Your ticket includes an hour and a half in The Snug (think shoes off, cosy, comfy, chilled vibes) where you will meet other book lovers who have at least one book to share with you and swap for another. You will also be offered a brew and a delicious cupcake made by Kimmy Cakes UK (a former cake decorator at Cheshire Cakes – Kim’s cakes are tried and very much tested in our household!). It also includes the opportunity to come together to discuss books we love in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The idea is that you bring along with you up to (and no more than) 5 books that you have read and enjoyed and would like to pass on to someone else, and swap them for books that other people at the event have brought with them and recommend. We can have some time to share short reviews of the book/s you have brought, collect them all together and then do swaps.

A little note from me; If you’re nervous about things like this where you might not know anyone, don’t be! If the event fills with my book club ladies I can verify and promise you that each and every one of them is lovely, warm and welcoming.
